Today I’m thrilled to say I am on the blog tour for Briefly Yours by Cat English on behalf of LiterallyPR. Thanks to both Literally PR and Cat English for the copy of the book to give my thoughts today.
The Intimate Adventures of a London Call Girl by Belle De Jour meets A Street Cat Named Bob by James Bowen & Fifty Shades of Grey by EL James.
The girl next door reveals her dark secrets of the path she walked down by selling her soul to the devil to help the needy.
What happens if you need to earn serious money to fund your sister through law school and save the hundreds of feral and stray cats in your area? For Cat English, the answer was to work as a call-girl – and be incredibly good at her job.
Briefly Yours is a real-life erotic memoir about the realities behind being the breadwinner in your family, the ‘crazy cat lady,’ and getting to the top of your game. Returning to the ‘real world’ with a job in retail was never going to be easy.
With steamy sex scenes, peculiar punters, feisty farmers and cute cats… Briefly Yours is an explosive behind-the-scenes account of Cat English’s life: by day as a sexy call-girl and by night as a cat rescuer!
This real life erotic memoir by Cat English shows us how she worked as a cat rescuer and also as a call girl to make money. She doesn’t hold back when describing either of her jobs.
I was really engrossed in her double life.l, this can’t have been easy at any point. She is a strong woman, mentally and physically and believes women are stronger than they think in both ways, when they believe in themselves.
In her feral cat caretaker role she is fully motivated to support and care for cats, feral and stray ones. She does rely on a lot of donations and uses her own earnings to ensure they survive the cold hard winters. Her dream is to open a sanctuary for feral and stray cats and I am sure she will do this and not too far in the future either.
Her high class call girl work is told in such a way that its no holds barred. We are told of various experiences with some of the men and, well, all I can say is I am glad it wasn’t me. A definite interesting and informative tale from a female meaning to go places and doing her best to make it all happen.
It isn’t just interesting and informative, thus memoir is emotional too. Cat English puts everything into saving the cats and I can understand this. Her escorting life just pays for her dreams and she pays with a little piece of her soul. This woman deserves the biggest hug. I connected with Cat and felt for what she has to sacrifice and understood her. Such an interesting and eye opening book.
