I am hosting the blog tour for Living Your Best Life by Maxine Morrey on behalf of Rachel’s Random Resources. Thank you to Rachel and Boldwood Books for place on the tour and the copy of the book to take part.

Some days Bee feels invisible. Most days Bee does not feel as if she is ‘living her best life’.

Sure she has a loyal group of friends, a job she’s good at, and a small London flat to call home, but a lot of the time, Bee feels as if no one actually ‘sees’ her.

Her best friend, the unfeasibly handsome and successful Luca Donato does not have that problem. People are practically falling over themselves whenever they see Luca, but one thing the two friends do have in common, is they haven’t yet found the ‘One’.  When their friend Tia challenges them to change all that through online dating, Luca and Bee set about the task with very different levels of enthusiasm.

The saying goes that you have to kiss a lot of frogs to find your prince, and it’s not long before Bee is ready to admit defeat. But with Luca inundated with potential love interests, Bee is determined not to give up. Surely her perfect partner is out there somewhere…

This is my first read from this author, and I wasn’t too sure what to expect. I loved the synopsis. I mean, who honestly doesn’t want to live their best life? The cover really grabbed me too.

Living Your Best Life is a great feel-good romance with Bee, a young and smart woman who has low self-esteem. She is stuck in a rut. Not valued in her job either and she has truly given up on dating. Luca is her best friend who never has issues dating but has decided he is going to use a dating app to find The One.

Tia, one of their friends, sets them both a challenge to try the dating app. Bee isn’t keen at all, but her rivalry with Luca pushes her to agree. What ensues are several dating experiences for Bee, which gives her the idea she may find someone for her…and that someone may be closer than she thinks.

Luca and Bee have chemistry together, and their banter was brilliant. The characters are all great, and I loved that Luca was such a positive man towards women. We definitely need more of these types of characters. It was so nice to see Bee reach her potential in work and in her normal, everyday life.

This may have been first Maxine Morrey book, but I do think it won’t be the last. I so enjoyed following Bee on her journey of self-discovery and love

Read yourself happy’ with Maxine Morrey’s latest heart-warming, feelgood, page-turning romance, guaranteed to make you smile. Perfect for fans of Lauren Weisberger and Sophie Kinsella.
