What does the future hold for the families and friends of Mulberry Lane?
Whenever I see an invitation to a Rosie Clarke book tour, I am so excited to dive into the book. I have adored every book I have read in this series. We have followed everyone over the course of the series, and returning to them is always like going to catch up with friends.
This time, we go back to 1958. We see how the residents of Mulberry Lane are dealing with life; now, the war is well and truly behind them. We see that for some, it’s not all plain sailing, and there is bad news to come, as well as some good too. The story concentrates on the younger generation also in this book.
Rosie Clarke’s research always shines through in every book I have read. Every time, without fail, I feel like I am transported to the decade Rosie has chosen for that particular book.she never writes without authenticity; every detail is there.
Her characters are so detailed that they spring to life so vividly. Rosie Clarke really cates for her characters, and you can tell by the way, just by the way she writes about them. I actually feel for them all, whether they live on Mulberry Lane still or are away for one reason or another.

The Mulberry Lane series is one that is fully appreciated by reading them in order. As I always say, you understand more of each character that way, but Rosie Clarke does give a recap on the characters, so they are refreshed in the mind.
If you love historical fiction that has beautifully created characters, romance, friendships, trust, and family, I would say go start this fabulous series… but don’t expect to put your Kindle (or physical book too) down for long.
