The first book in the Industrial November on Tour series, Hiding In the Smoke is quite a powerful story, one that I was pretty drawn to after reading the blurb and seeing the cover. Let’s have a look at the synopsis that grabbed my attention and you can see what I mean too.

A well written and quite steamy read that grabs you and won’t let go from the start. This is not one of my usual genres but saying that I couldn’t stop reading!
The main characters Sofia and Bren are not what you would call a likely duo but we see things start to sizzle as they pair up. Bren was one I wanted things to work out for. Sofia is a strong, independent woman who is scared of commitment. This means she has her own rules. One night, no cuddling and no sleepovers. The only problem is with Bren, the rulebook goes out of the window! But can Sofia take the chance? Oh, I was willing her to do so all the way, poor Bren…I felt for him!
I thoroughly enjoyed this book and do like the fact that any book from the series can be read and it doesn’t matter to the storyline. Ofelia Martinez’s books are what you could call a guilty pleasure, and I for one loved it!
