This is not the first book I have read by J.A Andrews and let me tell you, I hope I get to read many more. He has again created a psychological thriller that more than ticks every box.

There are two sides to every story…
Grace Thomas and her husband Cameron live busy urban lifestyles and decided to take a short break away in the countryside to reconnect as a family with their two children. Suspecting her husband of having an affair, the trip is ruined when Cameron’s personal assistant Chantelle, arrives unannounced with some devastating news. Chantelle appears to be everywhere Grace turns, and her instincts can’t all be wrong.
Not only does Chantelle resemble Grace, It soon becomes clear that she is desperate for Cameron’s attention, but at what lengths would she go to get it?
Determined to save her marriage, Grace begins to unravel all the secrets in her relationship by scrutinising the clues. Chantelle is always in the background, but behind her smile is a dangerous lie that has devastating consequences for everyone.

As ways with J.A Andrews, this is a twisty, thrilling and impossible to walk away from after you start reading. The cover and the synopsis promise that what’s in these pages will keep you reading until you physically can’t anymore…and they fulfill that promise too.
The book is told with a dual time line which I always think makes for such a great read as you get every aspect and it creates a more detailed picture of the story. The way the author brings the two timelines into one is a great moment and one that is unexpected too.
This author always brings a book that isn’t just a run of the mill thriller, he has the knack of creating characters that, aren’t all likeable but they are very real, flawed and relatable people. (Depending which character it is off course!).

I am always enthralled and very immersed when I start a J.A Andrews book, he writes such gripping books which really have me thinking constantly attempting to piece it all together. I love this with a psychological thriller, there is always tension that has me dying to find out if I am right…never am usually, but that’s the fun of the book too.
Thanks to Rachel’s Random Resources and J.A Andrews for the copy of the book.
