‘Lost Angels’ by Stacy Green is the third book in the Agent Nikki Hunt series. I have read all the series so when I saw ‘Lost Angels’ I knew I wanted to be a part of the tour.
Nikki is an FBI Profiler/Special Agent who, in the first book of the series returned to Stillwater after twenty years away.

In this instalment, we see Nikki called to Boundary waters not far from Stillwater. She is shocked to the core to discover the frozen womans’ body which she is called to is her childhood friend Annemarie. To make matters worse she has a velvet ribbon tied in her hair-the calling card of Frost, a serial killer that Nikki has been hunting for way too long. As Nikki investigates it becomes clear that maybe Frost has been around a lot longer than she has known.
This Is another action-packed, fast-paced and boy enough thrills to have my heart in my mouth at times. Nikki is an excellent detective who is smart, highly resourceful and determined. This woman has been through the mill and come out the other side so strong. The book is told from her perspective so the reader might as well be in her head as we go through the investigation with her.
Stacy Green has perfectly developed Nikki over these three books and this book sees the almost finale of Nikki and Frost. It is almost like a crescendo. The twists, turns and tension in this story makes you feel like you need to catch a breath…but in a good way! From the start, there is a reveal of some sort which made me feel like I was pulled into the book even more at each point. It made this story such an immersive one, I lost track of time and read it in two sittings.

As always with Stacy Greens’ writing, you feel everything that Nikki is dealing with and even though all three books are fabulous this one seems to have the edge over the other two. Maybe it is the tying up of the loose ends from the previous events, but it is an exhilarating read
Thanks to Bookouture and NetGalley for my gifted copy of the book.
