SYNOPSIS
There is nothing a mother wouldn’t do to protect her children.
They think they’ve won. Good. While I try my best not to kill Gabriel, Aidan is hunting down the person responsible for destroying our lives; the one we call the Puppet Master. Separate but, united, Aidan and I continue to fight our enemies, desperate to reclaim what they stole from us.

By chance Eli and I stumble on a small, off the grid town – Pepper Gorge. It soon becomes clear this is not a place where people choose to live. Their lives controlled by a centuries-old evil, passed down through generations. If not for a woman running into the restaurant screaming about a body that has been found in the woods, we might never have realised what this place is. A cult.
Unable to turn my back on the innocent people of Pepper Gorge, Eli and I start investigating, despite it putting pregnant me in danger. No more dangerous than living in the same house as Gabriel.
With each passing day, more questions arise, and not enough answers. Not only questions about Pepper Gorge, but also the link between my father’s best friend and the Puppet Master. The most important question – what really happened the night my parents died?
Their car crash wasn’t an accident…
REVIEW
‘Binding Lies’ is the third book in the Finley Series and as with the previous two books, this one is as dark and dangerous. We have had two books to become enthralled and immersed in Finley’s world. ‘Binding Lies’ is a book that gives us the history of the death of Finley’s parents. We also learn of her time spent in captivity.
A story that follows two threads, the Puppet master and if he was involved in their deaths. The second thread is their discovery of a cult. They come across Pepper Gorge by accident and decide to send their secret drones in and research on the dark web to discover the details and the names of anyone connected with the place. Cults are always sinister, dark and twisted places that send shivers down my spine. As does this book when the link to the main story is uncovered.
Mariëtte Whitcomb has done it again! I love Finley and again she jumps out of the pages. Her main love in life is her family and she is like a lioness, defending them with her life if needs must. I find Mariëtte’s writing strikes at the heart, I feel this is because she writes from hers and it tells a story that is raw and real. A series that takes you on a journey, one you do not ever want to leave. I am waiting for Mariëtte’s next book in the series and am looking forward to telling you my thoughts.

Thanks to the lovely Emma from Damp Pebbles for inviting me and sending love to Mariëtte Whitcomb along with my thanks for the opportunity to be a part of Mariëtte and Finley’s journey with the copy of the book.

Thanks so much for being part of the blog tour x
