‘Every Little Breath’ by Keri Beevis is her latest release and I have loved every one of her books, this one is something special.

We are introduced to Casey Fallon she is working as a DJ on the late show in Moundesley but her story begins fifteen years ago when she bore witness to something that still haunts her dreams every night. In the present day, she is now 34 and has bought an apartment, just for her and Pheobe, her dog. Casey’s world is about to fall apart in a way she could never imagine. As she reconnects with a face from the past Finn, she finds comfort, but not for long…she has no idea what is to come.

This book is the darkest, scariest book Keri Beevis has written. Casey has been given a voice that allows us to see her hidden fragility as the story develops; the fact that she receives the kind of calls that would scare anyone. She knows she is in trouble and lives are in danger and she shows the greatest bravery and courage. A character I definitely warmed to, I was right with her in every situation.
The writing is so skilful, Keri Beevis has honed her craft to the hilt with this book. The descriptions of Norfolk so clear I could see it in my head.

A fabulous thriller that I found immersive, scary and very, very dark with believable characters and a whopper of a finale!! I really hope Keri Beevis is writing a second book and fast!
Thank you to Rachel’s Random Resources and Bloodhound Books for my copy of the book
