Jane Adams – The Sister’s Twin

‘The Sister’s Twin’ by Jane Adams is an entertaining crime read. It is the fourth book in the Ray Flowers series, but is easily read as a standalone.

Jane Adams

Ray Flowers is an ex-detective who is at a crossroads in his life. He has a security company and has given the police a helping hand occasionally with an odd case or two.

An elderly woman pays him a visit, asking if he can investigate her sisters murder…although her sisters is still alive. The police can’t do anything obviously, as there is no crime committed, yet! Ray decides to meet the sisters in their residential home and the other resident who saw the death in her cards. He discovers other deaths where a card has been left on their bodies. Can Ray get to the bottom of this conundrum?

I enjoyed being by Ray Flowers side throughout this thoroughly entertaining read. I thought the idea of the readings and everything around that really different. This is my first time reading about Ray and found him a great character along with Alice.

Jane Adam’s books always give me a good read and ‘The Twin’s Sister’ did not let me down. An intriguing book that held my attention very easily. I was as eager to discover the answers as Ray as we went along. I hope to read more about Ray Flowers in the future for sure.

Thanks to Jill Burkinshaw and Joffe Books for the copy of the book.
