‘Who Do You Trust’ by Kirsty Ferguson is a psychological thriller and if Kirsty’s previous books are anything to go by I was expecting a great story with a few twists along the way.

Dana, Logan and their daughter four-year-old Kelsey are all at a barbecue at her mum and dads when a tragedy happens after Kelsey’s favourite teddy bear goes missing. They have to keep going even as Dana’s world is crumbling around her and she feels she doesn’t know who to trust.
I found this a story full of characters that are flawed in lots of ways, I struggled to connect with anyone initially but as the story unfolded I was gripped by the atmospheric read.

The characters are authentic and definitely complex with a plot that is twisty and has the right amount of pace. As the story builds so does the tension and before I knew it I was unable to put the book down as I wanted to get to the end and what an end! A very original book, well worth it if you enjoy an atmospheric, dark and tense read.

Thanks to Rachel’s Random Resources and Boldwood Books for the copy of the book.
