Alan Gorevan – The Kindness Of Psychopaths

‘The Kindness Of Psychopaths’ by Alan Gorevan is a book from an author I haven’t had the pleasure of reading before. I immediately wanted to read this one. The cover, the title and the blurb grabbed me before I had even opened the book. Then the first chapter solidified the fact that I wasn’t putting this book down anytime soon!

Alan Gorevan

Valentina López Vásquez vanishes from her home and its clear she didn’t go willingly. Her husband Barry Wall and Joe Byrne, the detective in charge of her case both begin a gruelling search. One that put them on a path that will take them to much darker places than they could imagine.
A book that is intriguing with an excellent plot and plenty of memorable and very real characters. Joe Bryne,

the detective on this case, definitely touched me with his tough exterior that everyone believes in, apart from himself. The fact that Alan Gorevan can create multi-faceted characters is a skill not every author can claim and some try to create them but aren’t able to make their characters quite so believable as Joe and Barry.

A story with twists you just can’t see coming and action that has your heart in your mouth. A tale of a gruesome crime, one that once you have witnessed this it impacts in every way.

With a great pace and a skilfully weaved story before you know if you are coming to the end of the book! A great book that stands out from the crowd for various reasons! I am off to find all Alan’s books… I need to read them!!!

Thanks to Emma Welton of Damp Pebbles Blog Tours and Alan Gorevan for the copy of this oustandimg book…I am a new fan!! Promise I am not a stalker…much!!
