Cameron Curtis – Danger Close

‘Danger Close’ by Cameron Curtis is an action thriller by an author I have just been introduced to. Between the cover and the synopsis of this book they talked me into taking part of this tour, although if I am honest they didn’t need to say much!

Cameron Curtis

An ex-Delta Force sniper Breed has had enough of war and violence in his life, he is trying to live in peace for a time until he finds out a veteran has been murdered in El Paso and he feels like he should find the killer. Then the Vet’s widow and son are both murdered too, Breed goes all out to bring the killer to justice. He ends up working with a CIA operative and a Latina reporter and together the unlikely trio reveal a terrorist plot that is being planned in the U.S. These terrorist think they are home and dry with Cartels behind them and U.S Law Enforcement as well. They only have one drawback and it ain’t a small one…Breed is out to get them and nothing will stop him!

A book that doesn’t let up in the action-packed story that run side by side with a mystery too. The adrenaline-inducing, heart-pumping edge of your seat story kept me in Breed’s world for the maximum time that I could give. The characters all have interesting backstories and that gives a depth to the story as well as the action.

The one thing I shall say about ‘Danger Close’ is that with all this action comes gruesome findings that, if you have a weakness to violence etc, it may not be for you. For me, I thought the story wouldn’t have been as good or as realistic if the author hadn’t have included it all.

Thanks to Damp Pebbles blog Tours, Inkubator Books and Cameron Curtis for the book so I could bring this review today.
