Jay Raven

This is a series that truly took me by surprise. I read the first book, not expecting for it to grip me as it did and there has been no looking back!
In this book, we see Anton, the legendary vampire hunter, being tormented with the rumour his child is still alive and lost in a world of monsters. The only person who can give him the truth is Terek Modjeski, locked away in his maximum-security cell. Terek prefers to hold his power over his enemy Anton instead.
Anton attempts to carry on, but through his drinking and despair he ends up putting himself and his team in danger time after time. Resulting in friendships and loyalties being strained to their limits. The only possible answer is to take himself to the depths of the demons he hunts to get answers he needs. This chapter sees Anton make a decision that will change his destiny and send him into danger to face a horrifying truth about his child, that risks his sanity and the future of mankind.

A series about a Vampire hunter that I found very different from the other same old tired stories. It’s great to be seeing it from a different perspective. That’s what kept me weirdly attached to Anton and his world throughout. As we have progressed through the series, we see Anton has developed so much and is still on his own journey. I feel like my emotions have had a work out when I have spent a day reading this series.

A great story that just flows and makes you want to keep on going, even if it is one am
