I am honoured to be closing the blog tour today for ‘Lies On The Island’ by Stewart Giles, it is the second book in the Liam O Reilly mystery series. An absolutely brilliant author who excels at his craft, again we are back with Detective Liam O’ Reilly on Guernsey.
In Liam’s own words he would give anything to sink his teeth into a juicy murder case, well! What can be said?! Poor Liam is bored and hey presto! His wish comes very true. The lies, twists, turns and deception, as always, come thick and fast! As well as the bodies! Never a dull moment when reading one of Stewart’s books and for that he is a favourite for sure!!
Stewart, as always, has created a vivid and realistic story that I always end up feeling like I am part of. I was on the edge of my seat throughout and kept me guessing all the way! Stewart is one of my go-to authors and again has exceeded my expectations with Lies On The Island.
I always connect with his characters and never finish a book with the feeling it is unfinished. He knows how to entertain with a fab book and I hope he keeps on entertaining us for a long while yet.
