‘Fifteen Coffins’ by Tony J. Forder is a standalone mystery thriller that is a break away from his wildly popular Bliss series. I did not doubt in my mind that this would blow me away anyway, but as soon as I opened the first page and began to read I had the concrete proof that Tony is a mastermind at his craft.

This book is truly different in lots of ways, the first being that fifteen coffins is set in the U.S. and the fact that the main character is female too. The storyline is no less impactful though. An emotive and enthralling one that grabs you and truly won’t let you go until you reach the conclusion.
Sydney Merlot has returned to her home town due to the sudden death of her father. She needs to sort his business and personal things out.
While there she becomes entangled in a tragedy that absolutely no one wants to read about never mind live through personally. Sydney is an F.B.I Special Agent and knows that the investigation she begins will turn Moon Falls and everyone in it upside down and inside out. What she doesn’t count on are the people with the power, reputation and their money invested in Moon Falls, who may not want her looking too closely into the town of her childhood.
Tony, has again created a character that is so realistically written that she comes to life on the page. I felt like I could be in Moon Falls as Sydney goes on with her investigation her search for the truth and dedication leaving her exposed to danger and virtually isolated, nothing stops her.

A belter of a book that I couldn’t put down and didn’t even want to put down, I needed to know the truth with Sydney no matter how long it took! I thoroughly enjoyed Fifteen Coffins even though it was an emotional rollercoaster for me. I would love to see some more of Sydney in the future she is a kick-ass woman!
Thanks to Book On The Bright Side and Tony J. Forder for my copy of the book for my review today.
