The Final Verdict by Sally Rigby is the sixth instalment of Walker and Cavendish. I read this without reading the previous books. I found I didn’t really need to read the previous books but really want to start from the beginning as I loved both Detective Chief Inspector Whitney Walker and Dr Georgina Cavendish. They are both my type of women.

A killer is murdering lawyers from a prestigious law firm and D.C.I Walker and forensic pathologist together need to try to piece together the puzzle to get to the root of who is doing the killing and find a motive. Alongside this Whitney has her personal problems at home in the shape of her mother to deal with too.
I really connected with both women and found that the author has certainly made a cast of 3d characters with a story that had me gripped to the end, plenty of twists, with added political reasoning and add to that the gruesomeness. It all adds up to a definite page-turner that I would recommend. Thanks to Damp Pebbles Tours for the ARC and allowing me to be a part of this blog tour.

I think I would love to read from beginning
