‘Tooth For Tooth’ is the second book in the Talion series. The first being Eye For Eye. This is, as its predecessor was, a chilling tale. The beginning of the book starts with a prologue of a child abused but the pieces don’t come together until further into the story.

The characters of Susie and Roy Cruise are still here, from Eye for Eye. In order to fully appreciate and understand the story, it is almost essential you have read the first book, due to the story in this book being a direct continuation and the amount of things that happened then. There are lots of little other threads of stories within the book as well as the main topic of the murder of Joe Harlan Jr. a rapist.
Susie and Rob are what could be described as prolific murderers which, if you have read Eye For Eye, you will be up to speed! They feel they can get away with anything together although Susie had a deeper bond with Deb and Roy realises more than Deb knows but then again Susie knows more than Roy thinks she does also! Makes for a very tension-filled story with everyone getting ready for a confrontation on their terms.

There are a lot of characters still in the story and we revisit them all. There are also some horrible new characters that bring their own perversions to the story. It is a big pot of everyone keeping secrets and when will the tables turn! I am so ready for the next book to arrive! Thanks to Anne Cater at Random Things Tours for letting me be a part of this blog tour for Tooth For Tooth by J.K Franko.
