Lisa Sell – Trust

Lisa Sell’s second book, Trust, is a great piece of writing. It brings the question, how much can or should we trust the people around us?

Lisa Sell

Sarah has had a hard life, her parents were drug addicts and she ended up going into the care system, first fostered and finally adopted. She has conquered all as an adult and has a fantastic career as a doctor. The only fly in the ointment in the present is the fact that she feels she needs to find out what happened to her foster sister, who disappeared back in 1992 and whose body has just been found. As Sarah digs into the mystery it becomes pretty clear there is someone who isn’t keen on her unravelling anything soon!

Lisa has written a very interesting book in that she has used a dual narrative and we get to see things from both Sarah’s and the actual murderer’s view. I loved the twisted darkness of the story and was kept guessing till the end! Thank you to Bloodhound Books and Lisa Sell for allowing me to read this ARC, I thoroughly enjoyed it.
