Jack Janson and The Storm Caller is a lovely book to read and will definitely appeal to both young and older readers. I was engrossed in Jack’s story. Jack is a boy who feels he can be himself at Grandma’s and finds comfort there. He has one best friend, Sarah Jane, and their friendship is one all children should have.
During a visit to Gran’s he has a magical meeting with Winfred, a young giant, which has all sorts of repercussions, including the learning of a new language! As always with wise old Grannies, she has a few eye-opening and helpful things to say in order to help Jack. And Grandma knows more than he could ever imagine!!
This is such a lovely book. It is enchanting and magical at the same time. Andrew Marsh has done an excellent job in producing a quality tale for across the board audiences! 5☆ for me!
